Manfred Forest is an independent professional nature/outdoor photographer with cover credits in numerous magazines. Over the past 30 years, his credits include many international publications, in both Europe and North America.

Author, photojournalist and foremost authority on wildlife in its natural habitat. His studies and photographic assignments have taken him throughout North America and five other continents.

His formal education has been directed towards both the Art and Science of our environment. With this understanding, and his background in environmental studies, plus his training in urban planning, he has acquired a vast understanding of the issues which confront our future. He strongly believes that the international language of photography is the strongest advocate for these concerns.

Manfred works in 35mm and 617 formats, and has been actively involved in computer generated digital imaging for the past decade. With his extensive image bank, he has produced numerous multimedia shows, and has distinguished himself as a photographer, speaker and writer with the capability to explain and illustrate ideas and techniques in a way that is easily understood and remembered.
