SEEING INTO NATURE
a photography course
January 2002 |
Adele Curtis is a photographer, singer and songwriter who brings her unique poetic and spiritual experience of the landscape to her photography, her songs and her teaching. She has shared her slide and live music presentations with over 300 audiences since 1988. Through her teaching, Adele guides you to an awakening of your connection with the natural world, your experience of the spirit in the land and your skill in portraying this experience on film. Adele has presented dozens of workshops at locations across Canada. Her teaching inspires and motivates. The quality and value of these events to the participants is evident in that many students return to experience additional workshops at a later date.
This photography course is for anyone with a desire to explore new ways of seeing and experiencing. Beginning or advanced photographers will be provided with information and inspiration. There will be slide and music presentations, instructional slide lectures, fieldwork and student slide analysis. Emphasis will be on learning to photograph landscapes and natural scenes in ways that express how you feel about what you see.
"Travelling to notable places of scenic
beauty is a privilege, but for me, the camera teaches the beauty of the
things right at our own feet."
