A photography workshop retreat with
COURTNEY MILNE and
ADELE
CURTIS
APRIL 2 - 6, 2000
Point No Point Resort, Sooke
VANCOUVER ISLAND, BC
Experienced photgraphers are invited to join us for a meditation retreat. Photography can lead us to a connection with the peace and healing energy of Nature. Our field work will emphasize techniques which result in impressions of the landscape and expressions of our shared experience.
Beginning with an evening of images from the forests of Vancouver Island to the far corners of the Earth, we will spend five nights and four full days enjoying the quiet and beauty of this forty-acre resort with its cosy cabins, dramatic sea views, cliffs, beaches and wooded trails. The delights of Spring growth will be evident everywhere.
FIELD TRIPS:
CHINA BEACH - Just a few minutes down the road from the resort, China
Beach offers a forest of giant spruce and cedar, and a wide sandy beach.
BOTANICAL BEACH - An adventure to this internationally known marine
preserve will be full of visual excitement: tide pools, sandstone
formations, crashing surf and twisted giant trees.
WHEN?
The workshop runs from 5pm SUNDAY April 2, 2000 till mid-night THURSDAY
April 6, 2000.
Checkout time from the resort is noon, Friday April 7, 2000.
